Needs Statements

1. Mary(Pilot) needs a way to plan an itinerary so that she can focus on flying rather than spent hours on flight planning.
2. Louise(Co-Pilot) needs a way to make reservations so that she can eat, lodge, and rent in the right places & times.

From these two statements, I decided to focus on Louise’s statement.

Five Big Ideas

1. Air DAR (Delivery, Accommodations, Rental) – This app is similar to SkiptheDishes but a little bit advanced. A delivery guy will deliver things that pilots want. As soon as he/she gets money, he/she’ll hand you the food that they want to have & the transport they want to rent. For Accommodations, the app will lead them to lodges only that are partnered with.

2. Air Reservations – This app makes reservations for the right time for pilots so that they don’t have to rush getting food/rent/lodge.

3. Air-ny-where Recommendations – This app makes recommendations for Restaurants, Accommodations, or Rental Services when pilots choose the specific time they want. It will search up for the places that meet their requirements the best!

4. Aero Personnelle – This app sets up everything by pilots’ personalizations so that the pilots don’t have to wander around finding places.

5. Aero Community – This app is a chat platform for pilots where they can ask for all the information to local pilots in each city so that they can get tips easily.

Final Big Idea

Out of those 5 Big ideas, I decided to explain the app called “Air Reservations.” And I made a site map to display how it works clearly.

1. Get into the Landing page.
2. Sign up for an app and set up the location where you want to use this app. It will welcome you:)
3. After you finish setting up, the app will lead you to the Home menu. Click the Home menu and select categories that you want to make reservations on.
4. Then, select the time that suits you the best.
5. Make payments after select everything you want to eat/accommodate/rent.
6. Select the ‘Finish reservations’ button. You will be receiving air points every time you make reservations. Air points will allow you to use this app more effectively. Eg. You can redeem one free night coupon if you save up to 1000 air points. (It is not on a site map, but I thought this would be a great idea to run the app neat, and systemically. I could not display it due to lack of space on my sketchbook.)
7. After that, it will lead you to leave some feedback at the end (I put the ‘Review’ on a site map but I feel like leaving feedbacks would be better to improve an app in the right way.). You could leave feedback or not. Either way, you will receive extra air points (not as much as you made after making reservations, but still, it will be useful.). *I could not also mention this due to lack of space…)
